This facility provides comprehensive surgical services with established anesthesia protocols designed to support quality patient care delivery across a range of general surgical specialties. The facility operates under a physician supervision model and maintains modern anesthesia capabilities for diverse surgical cases. Cardiac, obstetric, and complex vascular procedures fall outside the CRNA scope of practice for this assignment.

Tucson, Arizona offers a range of outdoor, cultural, and historical attractions suited to diverse interests. The area provides access to the only publicly accessible Titan II ICBM missile site in the world, located approximately 25 miles south, as well as Kartchner Caverns State Park approximately 50 miles southeast, home to one of the most pristine living limestone caves in the world, including Kubla Khan, the largest column in Arizona. Clinicians on assignment may also explore Sabino Canyon, the DeGrazia Gallery in the Sun, and Catalina State Park, which spans more than 5,500 acres of foothills, canyons, and streams. Downtown's Congress Street serves as the main entertainment corridor, featuring live music venues, dining, and a free streetcar connection to the 4th Avenue District.

Clinicians in this role will provide anesthesia services under a physician supervision model during day shifts at an operating room facility in Tucson, Arizona, with scheduling options of 10 or 12-hour shifts and a minimum commitment of 20 hours per week. The surgical case mix includes general surgical procedures, excluding cardiac, obstetric, and complex vascular cases, serving patients across all age groups. No call coverage is required for this locum tenens position. Board certification and prescriptive authority are required for all clinicians considered for this role.
