Delivery Driver

Job Responsibilities Deliver products to customers within the designated area, ensuring accuracy and quality. Conduct customer interactions safely, courteously, and on time. Check products against quality standards before delivery. Operate delivery equipment and maintain a clean environment. Receive and process telephone and in‑person orders. Maintain inventory records and complete required paperwork. Assist with storage, preparation, and daily cleanup tasks. Essential Skills & Qualifications Proficiency in basic arithmetic and accurate change calculation. Strong verbal and written communication skills, including telephone proficiency. Motor coordination and manual dexterity for precise handling of items. Experience entering orders using a computer keyboard or touch‑screen. Valid driver's license and reliable vehicle for delivery assignments. Ability to work flexible hours and varying schedules. Comfortable working in a fast‑paced environment and handling customer inquiries. Physical Requirements Standing for the majority of the shift on ceramic tile, brick, or linoleum surfaces; typical heights 36–48 inches. Walking short distances frequently across tile and linoleum floors. Sitting to complete paperwork at a desk or table. Lifting items up to 50 pounds and stacking them on shelves up to 72 inches high. Carrying up to 30 pounds of pizza sauce or similar supplies over short distances. Pushing pallets or trays on dollies holding 24–30 pounds, with a force of up to 7.5 pounds. Climbing stairs or ladders occasionaly for maintenance tasks. Exposure to weather variations, high indoor temperatures, food fumes, cornmeal dust, and hot surfaces up to 500°F. Safety and Exposure Safe handling of sharp edges, moving mechanical parts, and hot surfaces. Use of hearing for telephone communication and near/mid‑range vision for in‑store tasks.
