We are a boutique-sized diversified downstream energy company with a range of assets, including petroleum refining and logistics. Our refineries in Texas, Arkansas, and Louisiana have a combined crude capacity of 302,000 barrels per day Our logistics business currently owns and operates720 milesof crude and product pipelines, a 600-mile crude oil gathering system, and storage tanks and terminals.

JOB SUMMARY

The Intern supports department initiatives by assisting with day‑to‑day activities, project work, and analysis related to the department’s objectives. The Intern will work alongside Delek professionals will gain insight into how the department contributes to overall business operations. While performing the duties of this job in the field, the employee is occasionally exposed to moving mechanical parts, working at heights, and outside weather conditions. Physical activities include climbing, standing, crawling, confined space entry, and maneuvering through operating process units. While performing the duties of this position in the refinery, appropriate personal protective equipment will be worn as required.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

Currently pursuing Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Engineering. Accounting/Finance/Internal Audit: Accounting, Finance or similar degree Commercial: Finance, Business, Analytics, or similar degree Data & Technology: Computer Science, Management Information Systems, Computer Information Systems, or similar technology degree Refining/Logistics: Process Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, etc. Minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher with good academic standing Availability to work 40 hours/per week during Summer Internship Program Basic knowledge of Engineering. Accounting/Finance/Internal Audit: Business, Accounting and/or Finance Principles Commercial: Business, Accounting and/or Finance Principles Data & Technology: IT Equipment and Software Refining/Logistics: Process - Reliability – industrial equipment / other A self-starter with the ability to prioritize, multi-task, and meet deadlines Ability to record and present data in a clear and concise manner Solid written and verbal communication skills Solid software application skills, including MS Word, Excel and Outlook Good organizational & Strong interpersonal skills Willingness and desire for continual learning and self-development Maintain safe, clean, and orderly working environment by complying with safety procedures, rules, and regulations Ability to successfully work independently and as a member of a cross-functional team seeking to continuously improve department performance Perform other duties as assigned While this job description aims to provide a comprehensive overview of the role, it may not detail every task or responsibility required.
