Computer Help Desk Support

The Computer Help Desk Support will provide support to the administrative and academic technology of the district. Qualifications include a high school diploma, college degree or school certification preferred, knowledge of computer systems, experience with repairs, staff development, technology changes, articulation skills, congeniality and integrity necessary, CompTIA A+ certification required, and CompTIA Network+ certification required (equivalent CCNA, MCP, etc).

Responsibilities include responding in a timely manner to help-desk requests and meeting deadlines on assigned projects, minimum of five years experience with on-premise and remote help desk support experience, minimum of three years experience with Windows Active Directory, minimum of three years computer networking experience, minimum of five years Windows 10/11 experience, assisting in maintaining accurate records for inventory and repair/maintenance work, working with vendors in the repair and maintenance of equipment, working as a team member with other technical staff to communicate problems and solutions to ensure timely response and problem resolution for end users, ability to work on multiple projects and meet deadlines, ability to problem-solve and utilize strong troubleshooting skills to resolve issues to ensure minimal disruption of service to end users, providing training to end users on all hardware/software systems and related technology equipment, ability to work independently with minimal supervision and prioritize tasks.

Position Type: Full-time Salary Range: $60,000 - $70,040 based on education level and experience Benefits: Eligible for medical, prescription, dental, and enrollment in the applicable NJ State Pension Program.
