Cafeteria Manager/Cook
Position: Cafeteria Manager/Cook Starting Time: 6:00am-1:30pm Salary Range: D Pay Grade
Location: Man High School
Evaluated By: Principal
Maintain positive work habits
Perform duties effectively and productively
Maintain/upgrade job related skills
Assist in the preparation and serving of food to students and staff
Assist in the removal, cleaning, washing, and sterilizing of dishes/utensils/tables/equipment/furnishings in the dining and kitchen area
Assist in the maintenance of the kitchen trash and garbage collection area in a neat and sanitary fashion
Assist in the interpretation/planning of menu's and food preparation
Maintain positive public and employee relations
Performs other temporary job related duties as assigned by the Principal
High School Diploma or GED
Must pass the State Competency Test for this classification
Demonstrates competencies of job
Ability to communicate, read, writes and make basic calculations and follow written and oral instructions.
Good health with average physical strength with capability to lift large containers of food.
Possess a valid Food Handlers card and meet all local and state health requirements
Ability to relate well with children and adults.
Length of Employment: 200 days
Responsibilities: as assigned
