Provider will cover 3 NICUs across the El Paso hospital campuses
Estimated total coverage: Approximately 48 hours
One screening per patient
Schedule:
8:00 a.m.-5:00 p.m.
No call coverage
Patient & Clinical Details:
Patient age: 0-1 year Setting: Inpatient Service: NICU rounding Patient volume: Approximately 65 patients per day in clinic Support staff: Nursing staff available in the NICUs Hospital Stroke Certified
Scope of Need:
Perform ROP screenings for premature infants in the NICUs across all three El Paso hospital campuses
EMR:
Cerner
Requirements:
Board Certified in Ophthalmology
Active Texas license
Fellowship preferred
ACLS certification required
BLS certification required
PALS certification required
