Minimum Requirements

Bachelor's, Master's or Doctoral Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program approved by the APTA.
Active Virginia Physical Therapy license required to start the assignment.
BLS certification from the American Heart Association or American Red Cross may be required.
Experience working in skilled nursing or long-term care settings preferred.
Clinical competence in geriatric rehabilitation, transfers, wheelchair management, and ADL training preferred.
Ability to document timely and accurately in electronic medical records preferred.
