Company Description Moe (Market of Everything) is building a platform that turns everyday possessions into a live, dynamic asset portfolio, giving people real‑time market values and the ability to sell items anywhere. By combining AI product recognition, live pricing data, and multi‑marketplace integrations, Moe connects resale and retail ecosystems into one unified marketplace. Users can snap a photo of any item, see its current market price, track value over time, and list it instantly across platforms such as eBay, Facebook Marketplace, and Depop from one interface. The company\'s mission is \"Ownership for Everyone,\" making it simple for individuals to understand, manage, and monetize what they already own. Moe is an early‑stage startup seeking a technical co‑founder who is excited to help define both the product and the company\'s future. Role Description This is a full‑time, hybrid role based in Seattle, WA, with flexibility for work from home. As the technical co‑founder, you will own the end‑to‑end product architecture, from designing and building core backend services and APIs to integrating AI/ML models for product recognition and pricing. You will lead the development of web and/or mobile applications, manage integrations with third‑party marketplaces, and establish engineering best practices, including code quality, security, and deployment processes. Day to day, you will write and review production code, prioritize and ship features quickly, debug and resolve technical issues, and iterate rapidly based on user feedback and data. You will collaborate closely with the founding team on product strategy, fundraising, hiring the initial engineering team, and setting the long‑term technical roadmap and culture. Qualifications Strong full‑stack development skills, including experience with modern backend/frontend frameworks (we use AWS SST, Postgres, Typescript, React/React Native). Experience designing and managing scalable system architecture, including cloud infrastructure (e.g., AWS), databases, APIs, and microservices. Hands‑on experience with AI/ML integrations or computer vision tools (e.g., product recognition, image processing) and working with third‑party APIs or data providers. Background in building consumer‑facing products, preferably in marketplaces, e‑commerce, or fintech, with a focus on usability, performance, and reliability. Comfort setting up CI/CD pipelines, code review processes, testing frameworks, and basic security and compliance practices for early‑stage products. Ability to operate as a founder: high ownership, willingness to work through ambiguity, and comfort balancing speed with technical quality.
