The Role

Under immediate supervision, the Machine Operator will work under immediate supervision, operate specific machinery and perform more complex mechanical set-ups, including set up and operation of production lines. Acts as a group leader. Makes minor adjustments and verifies quality of own work.

What You’ll Do

• Performs work in compliance with standard operating procedures and rotate through various stations on the lines where needed, to ensure production needs are met.

• Perform and complete accurate and timely quality check sheets as defined on machine checklist and understand noncompliant product holds and make corrective actions as needed.

• Perform standard run rates, along with increasing efficiency and reducing shrink by playing an active role with the team members to meet company goals.

• Maintains an organized, clean and safe work environment.

• Complies with safety policies, participates in the plant's safety program and is proactive with Safety concerns.

Shift: This is a 1st shift position.

Qualifications

What You’ll Bring

• Must be 18 years old.

• High school diploma or GED not required.

• Previous production experience preferred.

• Quality-minded, conscientious and self-motivated.

• Effective communication skills.

The base pay range for this position is $20.51 per hour. Actual compensation will be determined based on experience, qualifications, and other job-related factors permitted by law. This pay range represents the anticipated salary for this position at this time.
