AI Platform Support Engineer

Salary: $86,571.2 - 96,971.2 per year Requirements:

• At least 3 years of experience in technical support, system validation, or software support.
• Strong knowledge of Windows, Linux, and x86 platform architecture.
• Experience with Python, Bash, or PowerShell scripting.
• Excellent troubleshooting and communication skills.
• Preferred: Experience with ROCm, GPU/NPU computing, and AI/ML frameworks.
• Preferred: Familiarity with PyTorch, TensorFlow, Docker, and AI model deployment.
• Preferred: Knowledge of BIOS/UEFI, device drivers, and performance analysis tools.

• Act as the primary technical contact for platform issues, investigating and resolving hardware, software, BIOS, driver, and application problems.
• Monitor support inboxes and ticket systems, reproduce reported defects in internal lab environments, and manage cases through resolution while maintaining customer satisfaction.
• Advise on platform configuration, performance tuning, and best practices; prepare weekly reports and materials about recurring issues and trends.
• Support systems running Microsoft Windows and Linux distributions, including RexOS, Debian, and Ubuntu.
• Troubleshoot platform issues involving CPUs, integrated GPUs, NPUs, memory, power and thermal management, and BIOS/UEFI.
• Assist with deploying and optimizing AI workloads, and setting up and validating AI software environments.
• Troubleshoot ROCm, PyTorch, Hugging Face models, and other AI software; assess workload compatibility, model execution failures, and performance bottlenecks.
• Collect and analyze logs, traces, dumps, and telemetry to isolate issues across hardware, firmware, drivers, operating systems, and AI frameworks.
• Identify root causes and collaborate with engineering teams on fixes; escalate product defects with clear documentation and reproducible test cases.
