The primary responsibilities of the people manager is to plan and implement cradle to grave solutions for all Invictus Logistics staffing, personnel, training, and engagement needs. JOB REQUIREMENTS Meticulous Organizational Skills Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word & PowerPoint) Ability to read and understand graphs and charts and interpret the data. Impeccable Interpersonal & Strong Communication Skills Must maintain a professional and positive attitude GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES People Managers will have hands‑on experience of the hiring process. They know how to write persuasive job listings, post job ads on recruitment sites and review candidate’s qualifications to shortlist the best fit for an interview. The ideal candidates know how to perform background checks, keep records, maintain confidentiality and enforce compliance with labor regulations. They can maintain warm relations with different people, have excellent listening skills and know how to gauge applicants’ responses during an interview. People Managers will be comfortable with public speaking, the use of interactive media and other digital devices. They also understand that coordinating and managing the staff does not end after hire and assist with basic human resource functions, as well as off‑boarding activities. Managing job postings Process/Onboard Candidates & Follow up with Candidates Progress Submit Daily Staffing Reports Create Staffing Strategies based on company needs Adjust to constant changes in demand Use Applicant Tracking Database Coordinate Logistics and assist with New Hire Orientation and DA Training Assist with management of Worker’s Compensation claims Other HR related tasks as they arise or are necessary Conduct off‑boarding activities and maintain archive records Assist with the creation of company SOPs for new process or process update documentation Implement and execute action plans to pro‑actively boost team morale Need reliable home internet & quiet office space to work Act in the function of DA conducting deliveries as needed Must maintain confidentiality of sensitive and confidential information Other tasks as requested WORK ENVIRONMENT The People Manager will work at the station & from home. Full‑time hours consisting of 45 hours a week (8‑11 hours/day). There may be adjustments including additional hours and potential schedule changes depending on time of the year and peak seasons and other factors.
