Project Accountant

Responsibilities Process the monthly owner requisition Process subcontractor requisitions Ensure subcontractors comply with contract terms and conditions (e.g., insurance, billing procedures) Process budget updates Process cost transfers Select invoices for inclusion in the weekly disbursement cycle Monitor and track the project's cash position Assist the Corporate Risk Manager in administering a Contractor Controlled Insurance Program (CCIP) Collaborate closely with Project Managers and Project Executives on all facets of project accounting and administration issues Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field Ability to adapt to different personalities and management styles 0‑3 years of related experience Alignment with Suffolk's Core Values: Passion, Integrity, Hard Work, Professionalism, and Caring Working Conditions The role requires long periods of sitting, keyboard use, phone calls, and typing. Employees may stand, walk, and reach with arms or hands as needed. Practical vision required includes close, distance, depth perception, and focus adjustment. Compensation Information The expected salary range for this Project Accountant position in Boston, MA is $32.21 per hour to $46.15 per hour. This range is one component of Suffolk's total compensation package, which includes comprehensive benefits.
