Entry Level Mechanical Engineer

MDP Engineering is looking to hire an entry-level Mechanical Engineer with experience in commercial design projects, including hospitality and multi-family residential experience. Specific job duties include: Participation in the planning, development, and preparation of construction documents. Interfacing with clients regularly. Perform a variety of office and/or field functions related to potentially complex engineering problems Ability to handle multiple tasks and projects, and meet deadlines. Ability to work independently. Must be proficient in the application of building codes. Qualified candidate will possess the following: Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering. Knowledge of building, energy, and electrical codes. Experience with LEED Certified projects. Proficient with AutoCAD, Visual, and some REVIT experience. Ability to contribute to several projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines. Ability to work independently and prioritize workload and projects. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
