Job DescriptionAs a Security Guard Part Time Unarmed Patrol in Springfield, MA , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. Job Schedule:
DayTimeSat02:00 PM - 10:00 PMSun02:00 PM - 10:00 PMWhat You'll Do:
- Provide customer service to patients, visitors, and staff by carrying out site-specific procedures, access-control practices, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
- Respond to incidents, medical emergencies, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established protocols and notifying appropriate personnel.
- Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout the healthcare location, including interior areas, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter locations, to help deter unauthorized activity.
- Monitor for unusual conditions, potential hazards, and policy violations; document observations and complete required incident reports accurately and promptly.
- Assist with maintaining an orderly environment by providing directions, supporting visitor management procedures, and communicating professionally with site personnel and Allied Universal leadership.
Minimum Requirements:
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
