PATIENT CARE COORDINATOR – RICHFIELD MN OFFICE
This patient-facing position is responsible for scheduling appointments, confirming appointments, greeting patients that come to the clinic, call on the phone, or communicate by e-mail. Appointments may include : New Patients, Returning Patients, repairs/service, and other related services.
- Greet patients professionally and in welcoming manner
- Answer phone calls, return messages, texts and emails
- Gather and enter all patient demographic and insurance information over the phone when making appointments
- Calling insurance companies to verify benefits
- Make and record appointments for both office locations
- Confirming/reminding patients of appointments
- Scanning various documents into patient's chart
- Be comfortable asking for payment and collecting outstanding balances
- Must be able to multitask and willing to learn new tasks as needed
- Must be reliable, organized and detailed oriented
This position is a 4 day per week 32 hours, from 8:30 am to 4:30 pm, Monday to Thursday. Starting salary from 18 to 21 dollars per hour with health insurance and accumulated PTO. Added incentives available for motivated and dedicated individuals.
