Cost Accounting Manager
Lafayette, IN

Direct Hire


Compensation: $125k-$140k plus bonus

Responsibilities

  • Manage and improve standard costing
  • Analyze variances (materials, labor, overhead)
  • Partner with Operations and other teams on cost and margin decisions
  • Support pricing, quoting, and profitability
  • Identify cost issues and risks
  • Improve processes using automation and AI
Requirements
  • Experience with standard costing and variance analysis
  • Manufacturing background (continuous flow preferred)
  • Understanding of how product differences impact cost and production
  • Comfortable using automation/AI to improve processes
  • Hands-on, individual contributor (no direct reports)
  • Team player with strong analytical skills
