Team Leader

As a Team Leader, you will support the FOH or BOH team and ensure the restaurant is being led successfully. Position Type Full-time Salary $18 - 22/Hr Health insurance Vision insurance Paid time off Paid training Access to Scholarship Opportunities Intentional growth and development to help you reach your professional goals Sunday off every weekend Responsibilities Prioritize guest service (serving, bagging, prepping, cooking etc. in a timely manner) Maintain cleanliness of your work area (kitchen, hospitality or drive-thru) Maintain labor and productivity goals Stock proactively throughout the shift and assist team as necessary Effectively manage and lead a team of people serving our guests while maintaining our operating standards to provide the best hospitality and guest experience. Assisting with catering and/or making deliveries Coaching, teaching and training team members on policies and procedures and creating a positive work environment for everyone. Maintain food safety and cleanliness standards Open and/or close the restaurant leading the shift as a key holder Demonstrate a passion for the business and managing the overall operations Requirements Minimum 18+ years old Minimum of 1+ years of leadership experience managing teams, executing business plans, balancing food and labor costs Experience with developing talent, coaching, performance conversations, and progressive discipline Minimum of 1+ years’ experience in the quick service, hospitality, and customer care industry Team-oriented Friendly High Integrity Great Customer Service Ability to multi-task and work well under pressure Must be willing and equipped to work outside Must be available to work a minimum of 5 days including Friday and Saturday, minimum of 40 hours a week to full-time Behavior Characteristics Work a maximum of up to forty hours + overtime (if needed) per week in the restaurant Allocate at least two hours per week to planning Focus on systematically and effectively communicating store goals and important info to Team Members Combine critical thinking and practical leadership to create a culture of innovation Effectively coach and give direction, Intentionally and methodically grow and nurture relationships with the staff Be able to connect with a multicultural team Enthusiastically and passionately lead the team EMPLOYMENT PROMISE At Chick-fil-A Matteson, you will have a meaningful work experience where you are cared for and that will offer you opportunities to grow, both personally and professionally. #J-18808-Ljbffr
