Role Overview The Mission Operations Specialist is the frontline technical representative supporting internal R&D, deployed systems, and customer operations. The role focuses on fielding and troubleshooting CHAOS Systems in operational environments, building trust, and delivering flawless execution. Responsibilities System Deployment & Fielding Coordinate, plan, and set up internal R&D testing, customer demonstrations, exercises, and deliveries. Support installation, configuration, integration, and fielding of company systems. Cross‑functionally coordinate with logistics, engineering, and program teams to ensure successful deployments. Serve as the customer’s most trusted tactical partner. Know Our Products – Know the Mission Maintain intimate product knowledge and be hands‑on with hardware in the field. Lead basic system troubleshooting, support engineering teams, and provide clear reproduction steps. Escalate complex technical issues to engineering while providing operational context. Work full‑time onsite at our Headquarters in Hawthorne, CA with regular CONUS/OCONUS travel required for product testing and customer deliveries (≈50%). 3+ years of experience supporting military, government, or enterprise technology systems. Solution‑oriented mindset with strong troubleshooting skills across hardware, software, and networking environments. Experience with tactical communications, networking, sensors, UAS, C2 systems, or AI‑enabled platforms. Hands‑on engineering mentality – enjoys working with hardware components. Ability to seamlessly organize and navigate overseas engagements, operating in remote areas and mitigating risk to mission and personnel. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and communication software (Slack, Teams, Zoom). Active U.S. security clearance or ability to obtain one. Preferred Requirements Bachelor’s degree desired (not required) in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, Military Science, or related field. Prior experience as FSR, FAE, Systems Engineer, Solutions Engineer, or Technical Operations Engineer with a hardware component. Knowledge of radar, RF, sensor, weapons systems, defense technology, and communications. Military background or extensive experience working with militaries.
