Regional Sales Leader for Material Handling & Distributors

Reports To: Director of Material Handling (Eddie Sams) Location: Central Region (TX, LA, AR, OK, KS, MO, IA, NE, MN, ND and SD) - PREFERRED CANDIDATE WOULD LIVE WITHIN THE ABOVE STATES. Position Summary The Central Regional Sales Manager – Material Handling Division for WireCrafters is responsible for driving profitable revenue growth across an eleven-state Central Region territory including Texas, Louisiana, Arkansas, Oklahoma, Kansas, Missouri, Iowa, Nebraska, Minnesota, North Dakota, and South Dakota. This role manages and expands relationships with distributors, key accounts, and end users while executing divisional sales strategies aligned with overall company objectives. The ideal candidate is a results-driven sales professional with strong technical aptitude, experience managing distributor networks, and the ability to operate independently across a large multi-state territory. This individual will play a key role in expanding WireCrafters’ presence within the industrial, warehouse, logistics, manufacturing, and material handling markets throughout the Central Region. Key Responsibilities Develop and execute a regional sales strategy to achieve and exceed revenue and margin targets for the Central Region of the Material Handling Division Manage and grow relationships with distributors, integrators, and key end-user accounts across the assigned territory Identify, qualify, and pursue new business opportunities within industrial, warehouse, logistics, distribution, and manufacturing markets Conduct regular in-person customer visits, sales trainings, lunch-and-learns, and product demonstrations throughout the region Collaborate with inside sales, engineering, operations, and marketing teams to deliver accurate solutions and exceptional customer service Maintain and manage sales pipelines, forecasts, territory plans, and account activity using CRM and reporting tools Negotiate pricing, contracts, and project terms within established company guidelines Provide market intelligence, competitive analysis, customer feedback, and regional growth opportunities to leadership and product development teams Support trade shows, regional industry events, and association activities as needed Ensure consistent representation of the WireCrafters brand, culture, values, and customer service standards Assist with strategic regional initiatives focused on distributor development and market expansion Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering, or related field preferred (or equivalent industry experience) Strong understanding of distributor-based sales models and channel management Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills High level of self-motivation, organization, and time management Ability to work independently while managing a large geographic territory Proficiency with CRM systems and Microsoft Office Suite Willingness to travel extensively throughout the assigned territory (50–70%) Preferred Experience 5+ years of B2B sales experience, preferably in material handling, industrial manufacturing, warehouse solutions, automation, or engineered products Proven success managing multi-state territories and distributor relationships Experience working with integrators, dealers, or industrial channel partners Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, layouts, and specifications Experience selling into distribution centers, manufacturing facilities, and warehouse operations Competitive base salary plus quarterly commission paid on regional growth performance Company credit card and expense reimbursement program Comprehensive benefits package including medical, dental, vision, and retirement plan Paid time off (2 weeks to start, with accrual opportunities based on years of service) 9 paid holidays annually Company-provided technology and sales support tools Growth opportunities within a stable, financially strong organization #J-18808-Ljbffr WireCrafters
