Parts SpecialistAreas of Responsibilities and Duties:Able to follow company and department policies and proceduresMust be forklift certified or able to pass and obtainReceiving of inventory and incoming shipments, including identifying damage or shortagesPick, pull, process and ship outgoing ordersStock inventory according to assigned bin locationPull parts for work-in-process and deliver to job location on siteSafely load and secure large items or large quantities of items for transport in or on truck or trailerProfessionally, and with excellent customer service, interact with customersPerform cycle counts and inventory counts as needed or requestedNotify management of stock, equipment or building damageEnsure a safe, organized and tidy workspaceClean and perform housekeeping duties of warehouse and parts department working areas. Includes sweeping, cleaning, and trash removalDemonstrate effective teamwork and communication skills and able to support coworkersFollow all health and safety rules and guidelines, as well as common sense safety practicesSkills and Requirements:High School Diploma or GED equivalentAble to pass background checkAttention to detailAbility to work in a teamEfficient workerExcellent communication skillsBasic math skillsUnderstanding of units of measureAble to read and interpret documents such as packing slips and invoicesPhysical Requirements:Able to pass drug testAble to be pass medical physical examAble to work in uncomfortable conditions (heat, cold, small spaces)Able to work in physically demanding positionsAble to stand on one's feet for prolonged periodsLift, carry, push or pull at least 50 pounds at a timeAble to scale ladders or other means to stock or pull stock from shelves above one's head and shoulder heightThis job description is intended to outline the primary duties, responsibilities, and qualifications associated with this position.
