Description

• Administer evaluations of patients in both inpatient and outpatient settings, developing customized treatment strategies
• Provide evidence-based physical therapy interventions to enhance mobility, strength, balance, and overall function
• Engage collaboratively with nurses, physicians, case managers, and additional rehabilitation specialists to ensure optimal patient outcomes
• Guide patients and their families through therapeutic goals, aftercare planning, and home-based exercises
• Maintain detailed documentation of evaluations, treatments, and patient progress in alignment with regulatory standards
• Engage in interdisciplinary rounds and team meetings to deliver coordinated and comprehensive patient care

Education

• Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) or equivalent qualification from an accredited institution

Certifications

• Valid state licensure as a Physical Therapist
• CPR certification preferred
• Specialized certifications in areas such as neurology or geriatrics are advantageous but not mandatory

Skills

• Prior experience is highly preferred
