Digital Engineering Dept Secretary II

Epsilon Systems Solutions, Inc. is currently seeking full time Digital Engineering Dept Secretary II in Port Hueneme, CA.

Job Summary: This role serves as the clerical and administrative support to division personnel within the Digital Engineering Department.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Performs and coordinates all clerical and day-to-day administrative support activities which are typically required to accomplish the work of the organization.
• Composes routine and exceptional correspondence on subjects specified by management, ability to review outgoing documentation for adherence to Department of the Navy and NSWC PHD format and policy.
• Reviews documents prepared for signature or requiring coordination for conformance with regulations, grammar, format, and special policies of the department.
• Communicates to originator for corrections as needed or when not in conformance with known policies, or when correspondence regulations have not been followed.
• Schedules appointments and makes arrangements for participants, time and location of meetings in accordance with instructions from the requestor.
• Plans and performs all administrative duties, resolves most of the conflicts which arise, and coordinates the work with others.
• Makes travel arrangements for division personnel, contacts travelers in route to relay information, and prepares various travel vouchers and reports.
• Performs timekeeper responsibilities to include generation and analysis of missing and unapproved reports, follow-up with personnel for discrepancies, and verify submission and approval of leave/overtime requests.
• Takes notes, gathers and organizes information regarding work products and collaborates to improve processes and deliverables.
• Maintains and updates logs and spreadsheets.
• Collaborates with team to ensure changes are working.
• Coordinates deliverable status inputs to respond to data calls and action items.

Required Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Two (2) years' experience in providing principal secretarial support in an office environment at an enterprise level organization. .
• Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in written formats.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a SECRET security clearance.
• Pursuant to the various government contractual requirements, all applicants must be a U.S. Citizen.
• Skilled in the use of the Microsoft Office Suite

Pay Range:


The pay range for this role is $20.00 - $24.45 Hourly. This is a reasonable estimate for this role. Individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.

• Requires walking, reaching, sitting and concentration in the presence of occasional noise
• Ability to lift, carry and move objects up to 25 lbs. in weight.
