Physical Therapist - Rural KauaiScheduleMonday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, with a lunch break from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM. Flexibility in work hours may occur, and availability to work on Saturdays is required.Job DescriptionThe primary responsibilities include performing physical therapy evaluations and treatments in various settings, with 25% of the work in inpatient (acute, ICU, SNF) and 75% in outpatient environments. The position requires independence and a comprehensive approach to care for all outpatient diagnoses, as well as managing mobility progression for acute to SNF inpatient cases, including discharge planning. Duties will also involve working in the ER, ICU, Med/Surg (Acute, Observation, and SNF), and occasionally in OB, while extensively assisting in a hospital-based outpatient PT clinic.ResponsibilitiesConduct thorough PT evaluations and implement individualized treatment plans.Manage a full schedule of patients, typically seeing between 5 to 15 patients per day.Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care.Document patient progress and treatment outcomes in accordance with facility guidelines.Participate in discharge planning and coordination of care post-transition.Required Experience / Certifications / LicensureActive Physical Therapist license in Hawaii is required.Experience in inpatient (acute, ICU, SNF) and outpatient physical therapy settings is preferred.Strong clinical skills and ability to work independently.Why ARMStaffing?At ARMStaffing, we take care of our employees!
