Executive Housekeeper

Position Summary The Executive Housekeeper is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness, organization, and presentation of a private executive residence to the highest standards. This role performs a wide range of housekeeping, laundry, and household support duties while ensuring a welcoming, comfortable, and impeccably maintained environment for the Principal, family members, guests, and staff. This position requires a highly organized and detail-oriented professional who can effectively manage multiple priorities while maintaining strict confidentiality and discretion. The ideal candidate is dependable, service-focused, adaptable, and committed to delivering exceptional results in a private household environment. Key Responsibilities Work closely with the housekeeping team, homeowners, and the Estate Manager. Maintain a professional appearance and uniform standards. Ensure the properties remain clean by following specific indoor cleaning and organizing tasks assigned by the employer, often involving cleaning projects. Perform general cleaning and sanitizing activities throughout the designated property. Utilize a cleaning cart for transporting cleaning supplies efficiently. Clean and disinfect restrooms thoroughly. Sanitize kitchen and dining areas to promote hygiene. Wash dishes, utensils, glassware, pots, and pans as needed. Dust and wipe surfaces in various rooms, including mirrors. Vacuum and maintain floors, rugs, furniture, and drapes. Remove linens, towels, bedspreads, and blankets for cleaning. Neatly place and tuck clean sheets and blankets on beds, and replace pillowcases as required. Restock towels, washcloths, and hand towels in restrooms regularly. Collect and empty waste containers promptly. Operate washers and dryers, and fold sheets and towels in the laundry area as needed. Report maintenance issues within the property to ensure a well-maintained environment. Complete additional related tasks assigned to maintain overall cleanliness and organization. Qualifications Required Minimum of three (3) years of experience in a high-end private residence, luxury hospitality environment, or a similar housekeeping role. Demonstrated ability to maintain exceptional standards of cleanliness, organization, and household presentation. Ability to read and understand product labels, safety instructions, cleaning procedures, and household care guidelines. Strong communication skills with the ability to interact professionally with residents, guests, vendors, and household staff. Organization & Time Management Attention to Detail Confidentiality & Discretion Service-Oriented Mindset This position is performed within a private residence and may require prolonged standing, walking, bending, reaching, lifting, carrying household items, and operating cleaning and laundry equipment. The ability to perform physical tasks safely and efficiently is required.
