Job Title Housekeeper Location 1251 W 96th Street Employment Type Full-time Job Summary The Housekeeper is responsible for the cleanliness and maintenance of all assigned areas within the facility. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong attention to detail, possess excellent time-management skills, and have a passion for creating a welcoming atmosphere for residents and guests. Key Responsibilities Clean and sanitize assigned areas, including bedrooms, bathrooms, kitchens, common areas, and hallways. Dust, vacuum, and mop floors; clean windows, mirrors, and other surfaces. Maintain a supply inventory and notify management when more cleaning supplies are needed. Change linens and make beds according to established standards. Handle and dispose of trash and recyclables appropriately. Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to management in a timely manner. Follow all health and safety regulations and protocols, including proper use of cleaning chemicals and equipment. Provide exceptional customer service and interact courteously with residents and guests. Assist in special cleaning projects as needed, including deep cleaning and outdoor maintenance. Uphold the company’s policies and standards of confidentiality and professionalism. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent preferred. Previous housekeeping experience is a plus but not required; on-the-job training will be provided. Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently. Good physical stamina, able to lift heavy objects and perform repetitive tasks. Excellent time management and organizational skills. Must be reliable, with a strong work ethic and commitment to quality. Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing. Must pass background checks and comply with company policies.
