Relationship Banker Business Specialist

Position Overview As a Business Banking Specialist within PNC's Retail Branch organization, you will be based in Frederick, MD. Responsibilities Acquire and expand share of wallet for Consumer and Business Banking opportunities under $2MM in sales revenue. Lead proactive lead generation and appointments internally and externally. Deliver a differentiated client experience from acquisition through onboarding and servicing. Manage and grow Business Banking relationships under $2MM in sales revenue, using client data to create actionable sales strategies. Generate quality referrals to ecosystem partners and help manage referral follow‑up. Develop ecosystem leadership within and outside the branch, working with partners such as PNCWM, PNC Private Bank, Business Banking and Mortgage. Work with branch staff to identify and create referrals and opportunities to expand share of wallet for consumer and business clients. Engage clients in the lobby and educate them on financial solutions using technology and resources. Apply product and procedural knowledge to mitigate customer problems and support customer loyalty. Manage risk in line with policies and procedures, exercising sound judgment and heightened scrutiny to avoid loss. Participate in daily branch operations, ensuring efficiency and accuracy. Qualifications University or college degree or equivalent combination of education, certification, and experience (including military service). 1 year of professional experience or completion of a formal development program. Proficiency in banking products, business acumen, and customer experience management. Strong communication, prospecting, and sales competencies. Ability to leverage technology and manage multiple priorities. Experience with risk management and adherence to regulatory frameworks. Effective communication skills and ability to advocate for clients across departments. Education and Certifications Bachelor's degree required; no specific certifications required for this position. Other Requirements Ability to serve as a Notary Public in the applicable state. Background checks as required by Consumer Financial Protection Bureau regulations. Will not be sponsored for employment visas or participate in STEM OPT. Pay Base Salary: $57,750.00 – $96,250.00. This role is incentive eligible with payment based upon company, business, and/or individual performance.
