Speech Language Pathologist in Clawson, MI

Step into a rewarding contract opportunity supporting students from early intervention through elementary levels in a collaborative, multi-site school setting. The role begins June 1, 2026, and extends through Thanksgiving, offering a blend of part-time hours in the summer (510 hours per week) and a full-time schedule (32.5 hours per week) during the school year. What Youll Do: Deliver year-round speech-language therapy for early intervention, Early Childhood Center, and PreK/elementary students in non-public settings Manage a diverse caseload across three schools and local in-home therapy in Clawson Conduct assessments, develop and implement IEPs, and monitor student progress Collaborate with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary staff for optimal student outcomes Utilize creative, evidence-based strategies to address a range of speech and language needs Maintain accurate, timely documentation in compliance with state and school requirements Skills & Experience Desired: Active Michigan School Speech and Language Pathologist Certification Experience supporting early intervention, preschool, and elementary-aged students Comfort and adaptability working in multiple school sites and home environments Strong communication and organization skills Ability to build rapport with students, families, and school teams Commitment to ongoing professional growth and student advocacy This contract role offers competitive compensation between $45 and $55 per hour, reflecting experience and credentials.
