ERP Modernization Project ManagerKey Responsibilities Project Planning and Management:Develop and maintain a comprehensive project plan that outlines the scope, schedule, budget, and resource requirements for the ERP modernization initiative.Establish a project team, define roles and responsibilities, and create a communication plan.Monitor project progress, identify risks, and proactively address any deviations from the plan.Project and budget tracking in ServiceNow or similar systemsStakeholder Management:Work closely with stakeholders, including the executive team, department managers, IT personnel, and end-users.Understand organizational requirements and objectives related to the ERP system.Cultivate strong relationships with stakeholders, communicate project updates, and manage expectations.Budget Management:Define and manage the project budget, tracking costs throughout the implementation.Collaborate with stakeholders to identify cost-saving opportunities and develop contingency plans.Risk Management:Identify potential risks associated with the migration process.Develop risk mitigation strategies and ensure timely resolution of issues.Implement risk assessment, response, and monitoring mechanisms.Resource Management:Oversee project resources, including project team members, vendors, and contractors.Ensure the team is appropriately staffed, trained, and motivated to achieve project objectives.Change Management:Facilitate change across the organization by promoting awareness and gradual adoption of the new Workday system.Address resistance to change and ensure a smooth transition for end-users.Reporting and Documentation:Prepare regular status reports, steering committee presentations, and other relevant documentation.Communicate project schedules, delays, and work changes to management.Qualifications and Skills:Strong project management skills, including budgeting, risk assessment, and resource allocation.Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management abilities.PMP or other relevant certifications are a plus.Experience managing ERP implementation or migration projects is a plus.Familiarity with both Oracle and Workday systems is a plus.
