School Speech-Language Pathologist - Coastal Student Services Opportunity (2026/2027 School Year)

An established school district in the Portland, ME area is hiring a full-time Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) for the 2026-2027 academic year. Responsibilities:

• Assess and identify speech, language, and communication challenges impacting academic performance
• Create therapy plans and IEP goals tailored to individual student needs
• Provide direct and indirect speech therapy services within the school setting
• Support students with articulation, expressive/receptive language, fluency, and social communication skills
• Consult with teachers and families regarding classroom strategies and student progress
• Maintain therapy documentation and ensure compliance with district and state regulations
• Participate in multidisciplinary meetings and contribute to student-centered planning

Experience:

• Prior experience in schools or pediatric settings preferred
• Comfortable managing a diverse student caseload
• CFY candidates encouraged to apply

Education:

• Master's degree in Speech Language Pathology or Communication Sciences and Disorders
• Active Maine Speech Language Pathologist License required
