Lead Case Manager

Provide leadership, guidance, mentorship, and technical assistance to the Case Management and Housing Specialist team Perform and oversee comprehensive assessments of program participants' needs Manage the program's most complex client cases Monitor, review, and audit participant case files, ensuring compliance Provide ongoing coaching, training, and professional development to Case Managers and Housing Specialists Develop and maintain collaborative relationships with community partners and resource agencies Maintain and update all client files to ensure compliance Transport program participants as directed Establish and maintain positive relations with stakeholders Ensure compliance with all VOA policies and safety regulations Requirements Bachelor's degree in social work or a related field preferred Two years of successful experience in the delivery of human services or any combination of education, training and experience Knowledge and experience with social casework objectives, principles, and methods Knowledge of Child Protective Services (CPS) and Adult Protective Services (APS) Experience working with the homeless population and the barriers faced by the unhoused Extensive experience with strength-based case management and trauma-informed care models Experience working with low-income adults from diverse social and ethnic backgrounds who have a history of homelessness or disability Ability to maintain a high degree of confidentiality and professional integrity Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing Strong problem-solving and time-management skills Experience in report writing and advanced file management techniquesProficiency working with computers including Microsoft Office Suite and database systems Core Competencies Demonstrates expertise in strength-based case management and trauma-informed care, with a strong focus on compliance and effective communication. Proven ability to lead and mentor teams while managing complex client cases and fostering collaborative relationships with community partners.
