We Are HiringThis is an exceptional opportunity for a motivated general Cardiologist to join an employed position within a busy, well-respected practice, supported by a strong referral base and the full resources of a robust health system network.Heart Care Team consists of 16 physicians and 16 APPs (across all sub-specialties)Call structure: 1:8 light home callPractice setting: Mixed (primarily outpatient clinic with inpatient rounding 1x every 2 months)Access to advanced cath lab (including Watchman, TAVR, high-risk PCI, renal denervation), on-site CT surgery backup, and advanced cardiac imagingDrive clinical excellence by utilizing evidence-based decision-making and key procedures (TEE, DCCV) to maximize patient satisfaction and outcomesEnhance patient access and heart care through collaborative outpatient and inpatient consultations, maintaining an average clinic volume of 15–20 patients per dayACGME Internal Medicine residency involvement optionalMentorship opportunities available for advanced practice practitioners and medical studentsEmployed position within a nonprofit health systemBoard Certified or Board Eligible in CardiologyFellowship training in Cardiology requiredAbout the FacilityFull-service hospital facility with 375 beds and three adult intensive care unitsLevel 2 adult and pediatric trauma centerServing a regional tri-state population of approximately 300,000+ residentsIntegrated referral networkPart of Ascension, a national nonprofit Catholic health systemWhy Physicians Choose AscensionPhysician-led, collaborative cultureLong-term practice stabilityNational network with local autonomyMission-centered care rooted in serviceWhat You Will NeedLicensure / Certification / Registration:Physician MD/DO credentialed from the Indiana Medical Licensing Board obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.Advanced Life Support preferred.
