Are you in?Your RoleKey responsibilities in your new roleDevelop and execute the U.S. indirect tax strategy aligned with overall corporate objectives and serve as the subject matter expert on indirect tax mattersOversee preparation, review, and filing of all U.S. indirect tax returns (sales/use, property, excise, etc.) to ensure timely and accurate tax reporting in accordance with applicable laws and regulations; drive automation and efficiency within processesManage indirect tax provisions and disclosures for financial reporting (ASC 740 where applicable) and maintain proper documentation / audit trailsManage tax controversy matters and responses to state and local tax audits / inquiries; negotiate outcomes with tax authoritiesIdentify and mitigate tax risks across business operationsPartner with internal teams (e.g., supply chain, procurement, sales, IT) to ensure tax-efficient operations and proper documentationYour ProfileQualifications and skills to help you succeedBachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required.CPA or Master's in Taxation strongly preferred.10+ years of progressive experience in indirecttax with Big 4 firm and/or large multinational Deep knowledge of U.S. indirect tax rules and multi-state regulationsStrong understanding of tax accounting and financial reporting implicationsStrategic thinking, strong analytical / problem-solving skills, excellent communication / stakeholder management abilities, strong leadership and team management skills#WeAreIn for driving decarbonization and digitalization.As a global leader in semiconductor solutions in power systems and IoT, Infineon enables game-changing solutions for green and efficient energy, clean and safe mobility, as well as smart and secure IoT.
