Support the execution of HR programs/processes within a region.Major Tasks, Responsibilities and Key AccountabilitiesManage the execution of HR programs/processes in the areas of: OE, Staffing, Performance Management, Learning, and Employment Practices.Manage associate relations necessary to maintain a positive and productive environment.Provide HR Support and guidance to HR Regional Managers and their staffs.Analyze reports to evaluate HR operations for assigned area.Assess regional needs on an ongoing basis and facilitate or develop programs to respond to the needs of the areaActively participates in acquisition integration assignments involving orientation, benefits and training.Nature and ScopeSolutions require analysis and investigation.Achieves planned results by decisions and actions based on professional methods, business principles, and practical experience.Manages a group or team of professional individual contributors and/or indirectly supervises support staff.Work EnvironmentLocated in a comfortable indoor area. Any unpleasant conditions would be infrequent and not objectionable.Typically requires overnight travel 25% to 50% of the time.Most of the time is spent sitting in a comfortable position and there is frequent opportunity to move about. On rare occasions there may be a need to move or lift light articles.Minimum QualificationsMust be a minimum of 18 years of age or olderMust pass pre-employment assessment(s) if applicableEducation and ExperienceTypically requires BS/BA in a related discipline. Generally 7+ years of experience in a related field. May require certification. Advanced degree may offset less experience in some disciplines.Preferred Qualifications7+ years of experience providing HR support to all levels of the organization.Experience supporting an employee base of over 600.Experience in Staffing, Learning, and Talent management.Experience supervising others.Multi-unit management experience.Demonstrated knowledge of ability to make key HR decisions and elevate to appropriate levels of HR/department.In-depth knowledge and understanding of the regulatory environment impacting HR decisions.HR M&A experience.Bachelor's degree in Business, IT or HR. PMP certification preferred.Experience using / managing HR systems (PeopleSoft, Kronos) and managing multiple HR system related initiatives.Familiarity with business specific HR policies and procedures in order to ensure HR systems are in compliance in theprocessing of inform ation.Core & Main is an Equal Employment Opportunity employer.
