Company Overview The Analyst of Insights role is part of an analytical client-facing team in DG Media Network (DGMN) that is responsible for helping clients understand and improve the return on their investments with DGMN's unique digital advertising solutions leveraging Dollar General's 1st party data. The Media Network Insights Analyst tells the story of DGMN's performance and results through best-in-class analyses, campaign reporting, actionable insights and data visualization in a client-facing consultative capacity. Additionally, this role works closely with DGMN's sales and media buying and execution teams to identify and provide strategic recommendations on digital advertising solutions to drive positive outcomes for DGMN's clients based on previous campaign performance. As a member of the Insights team, the Media Network Insights Analyst will play a vital role in assisting the Insights team to tailor reporting, analytics and actionable insights for iconic Fortune 500 brands. Job Details Duties & Responsibilities: Leads all campaign reporting and end of campaign insights for a set of DGMN clients. (20%) Assists the team with ad-hoc analyses and data pulls including historical campaign performance, DG1P, customer panel data, and more. (20%) Helps build the story of return on investment from digital advertising effectiveness leveraging various data points and actionable insights in a client-facing role. (20%) Assists the team with evaluating cross-network campaign performance trends and identifying root causes. (5%) Leads analysis to transform disparate datasets into actionable insights and recommendations to improve future campaign performance and ROI. (15%) Work closely with sales and media buying and execution teams on day-to-day basis to understand and deliver on client's business objectives. (15%) Collaborate cross-functionally with decision science, digital, enterprise marketing, IT, agency partners, and martech/adtech vendor partners as necessary. (5%) Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs): Experience transforming data from multiple disparate sources into relevant and actionable insights. Strong interpersonal written and verbal communication skills that translate to storytelling, influence without direct authority, and building relationships with clients and internal teams by turning insights into actions. Familiarity with digital media / retail media, general marketing principles and knowledge of key digital marketing KPIs (incremental return on ad spend, ROI, etc.). Working knowledge and know-how of simple querying language and database architecture. Working knowledge and know-how in Microsoft Excel and data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau). Organized self-starter who can help drive progress and solve business problems. Possess a growth mindset and is a good teammate. Qualifications Basic Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in marketing, advertising, economics, statistics or a similar degree 0-3 years of experience in marketing, media, digital advertising, ecommerce and/or adtech/martech 0-3 years of experience in measurement, reporting, business analysis and/or analytics 0-3 years of experience in basic client management / client consultation, or similar role Preferred qualifications: Expertise in advanced measurement and attribution analytics such marketing mix modeling, multi-touch attribution and ROI analysis Expertise with analytics and reporting tools (e.g. Tableau, Power BI) and ad serving platforms (e.g. Google Ad Manager, The Trade Desk) Expertise with basic query language (e.g. SQL and/or Python) and database architecture #J-18808-Ljbffr ∙ Elijah House Foundation
