Leapros Skilled Trades is actively hiring Electrician in Medina, MN. The Electrician is responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems in commercial and service-oriented environments. The ideal candidate will have a strong command of electrical codes, the ability to troubleshoot complex issues, and the flexibility to work on a contract basis in the Medina, MN area. Job Type: Contract Pay: $20 to $35 Per Hour BOE Responsibilities: Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems including conduit, lighting fixtures, and electrical panels. Troubleshoot electrical malfunctions and perform necessary repairs to ensure operational safety. Install, bend, and remove conduit to accommodate specific wiring requirements for various projects. Interpret and work from blueprints, schematics, and technical wiring diagrams. Pull electrical wiring through conduit and connect it to circuit breakers, transformers, and outlets. Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance on existing electrical systems. Test electrical systems and circuit continuity using various testing devices to ensure functionality. Maintain a clean and safe work environment by adhering to all company and OSHA safety protocols. Document all work performed and maintain accurate logs of materials used during service assignments. Qualifications: Proven experience in commercial or industrial electrical installations and service. Strong knowledge of National Electrical Code (NEC) standards and local regulations. Possession of necessary personal protective equipment (PPE) and professional hand tools. Ability to work independently or as part of a team to meet project deadlines. Reliable transportation to travel to job sites within the Medina, MN region. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot electrical components. Dependable and punctual with a professional approach to contract service work. Physical Requirements: Must have manual dexterity, a good sense of balance, and excellent hand-eye coordination. Ability to use hands to handle, control, or feel objects, tools, or controls. Must be able to climb stairs, ladders, and poles safely. Physically capable of pulling wires and cables through conduits. Capable of working in inclement weather and various temperature conditions. Must be able to see color to discern color-coded wiring. Ability to sit, stand, kneel, stoop, and walk for long periods of time. Physically capable of lifting and carrying materials up to 80 lbs. Pay Transparency: The anticipated pay range for this position is $20 to $35 per hour, based on relevant factors such as experience, skills, education, internal equity, and geographic location. Final compensation will be determined during the interview process by the hiring authority.
