A Day in the Life

At Medtronic, you will experience a diverse range of tasks in a successful international medical technology corporation with long-term training and development opportunities. We offer a position in the Neurovascular Business Unit as a Sales Representative. This position covers the Berlin region and is therefore a remote position. Remote means that your home address is considered your primary workplace (home office). For meetings, your presence in the Medtronic office may occasionally be required. For this position, there is a facility-related vaccination requirement. Therefore, full measles vaccination is a prerequisite for filling the open position.

Responsibilities include the following:

• Building, maintaining, and strengthening long-term relationships with various interest groups such as medical and non-medical professionals
• Responsibility for sales in the sales region, identifying growth opportunities, and developing commercial solutions
• Advising, training, and supporting medical professionals regarding our products and solutions for use in clinical practice
• Conducting negotiations with medical staff as well as clinic administration and purchasing department
• Active participation in trade fairs and conferences

Required knowledge and experience:

• Professional experience in the medical field or a Bachelors/Masters degree in medical technology, medicine, or business administration with a particular interest in sales
• Residence within the area of responsibility and willingness to travel regularly (possibly with overnight stays)
• Enjoyment of intensive exchange with diverse groups of people, strong customer and service orientation, as well as strong communication skills and empathy
• Self-initiative, high motivation, and a can-do attitude
• Entrepreneurial mindset and results orientation
• Creativity and openness to change
• Very good English language skills, both spoken and written
• Ideally, knowledge in interventional neuroradiology or in the sales of medical technology products
