Job Overview A law firm seeks an experienced attorney in Williamsburg, VA. The firm is expanding in key practice areas, including government representation, business representation, and litigation defense. They are looking for lateral attorneys with a portable client base to join their team. Duties Represent clients in various legal matters. Develop and maintain a client base. Collaborate with colleagues in a team-oriented environment. Engage in continuous professional development. Requirements JD from an ABA-approved law school. Active license to practice law in VA and/or NC. Entrepreneurial drive and desire to build a client base. Portable book of business or proof of originating business at $200,000 annually or more. Education Juris Doctor (JD) degree. Certifications Licensed to practice law in Virginia and/or North Carolina. Skills Strong client relationship management. Excellent communication and negotiation skills. Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment. Proven track record of business development.
