Full-Time Physical Therapist

Permanent position in the South of Sacramento area. The role involves providing evidence-based therapy to orthopedic, neurological, post-operative, and general rehabilitation patients, collaborating with an interdisciplinary team, and documenting progress in the electronic medical record.

Key Responsibilities:

• Evaluate patients and develop individualized treatment plans
• Provide evidence-based physical therapy services for orthopedic, neurological, post-operative, and general rehabilitation patients
• Monitor patient progress and modify treatment plans as needed
• Educate patients and families on treatment goals, home exercise programs, and injury prevention
• Collaborate with physicians, nursing staff, occupational therapists, speech therapists, and other interdisciplinary team members
• Maintain accurate documentation in the electronic medical record
• Ensure compliance with all regulatory, safety, and organizational standards

Qualifications:

• Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) or Bachelor's/Master's Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program
• Current California Physical Therapist License (or eligibility to obtain)
• BLS Certification
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Preferred Skills:

• Acute care, outpatient, or inpatient rehabilitation experience preferred
