Direct Support Professional DSP

Overview Seeking Direct Support Professionals to work directly with individuals diagnosed with intellectual & developmental disabilities in a group home setting. Direct Support Professionals will participate in daily routines while assisting and encouraging each person to develop their skills and be as independent as possible. Personal routines include a variety of different activities both at home and in the community. Responsibilities Support individuals with ADL’s Household chores Meal preparation Medication administration Social & community interaction Planning/organizing appointments and activities Document outcomes Qualifications Medication Aides or 32 Hour Medication (Certificate preferred but willing to train) CPR/First Aid Certificate Valid Driver’s License Dependable transportation Background check required Flexible and dependable Shift & Schedule Current Shift Available: Overnight Shift 6pm-8pm This shift works Mon-Fri 8 hour shifts and every other weekend 12 hour shifts overtime included. 8 hour shifts weekdays 12 hour shift weekends Overnight shift Overtime Rotating weekends Location & Contact Homes are located in Henrico/Petersburg in the 23059, 23805 area code.
