The Librarian should be independent, creative, and able to design and deliver library programs that inspire curiosity, inquiry and a life‑long love of reading. The Librarian will design and implement assessments that measure progress toward information literacy standards and will use assessment data to modify instructional practices. Job Requirements Desired Minimum Qualifications Education and Experience RIDE Certification REQUIRED: All Grades Library Media Teacher, Grades PK‑12 Experience in advancing the use of technology with students across multiple grade levels Citizenship, residency or work VISA in United States required Tools & Equipment Used: familiar with the operation of standard office equipment, Google Workspace including G Suite for Education Physical Demands: frequently required to sit, talk, and hear; use hands to operate, find, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls; occasionally required to stand, walk, reach with hands and arms, lift and/or move up to 25 pounds; vision abilities required include close vision and the ability to adjust focus At least 2 year(s) of relevant experience preferred Bachelor degree preferred Citizenship, residency or work visa required Application Instructions Thank you for applying to East Greenwich Schools.
