We are in search of the newest member of our team, a Purchaser. The ideal match for this role is someone who either has experience with Eclipse (our ERP) and/or experience with electrical supply purchasing, or someone who may be less experienced but brings a positive and inquisitive attitude along with the drive to be a self-starter and learn the ins and outs of our current system. Demonstrated experience taking initiative to learn new systems and establish best practices is a big plus.Job DescriptionReview PO requirements and place necessary orders to fill back orders and replenishment requirements.Set up new suppliers, vendors, and inventory items as required.Set up and maintain min/max ordering levels for stocked items.Enter and maintain system pricing for items.Resolve warehouse receiving and PO discrepancies.Approve customer RMA’s (Return Material Authorizations) and process returns to vendors.Process stock transfers and inventory adjustments as needed.Eclipse (our ERP) experience is a HUGE plus.Position RequirementsIdeally three years of experience in a business environment, including experience with basic business transactions, or a 4-year college degree in business or a similar major (math, economics, etc.). Candidates should have a history of responding to a high volume of email requests and possess a high level of proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Outlook. Experience working with Eclipse or in electrical supply purchasing is a big plus. A positive attitude and inquisitive nature are required.This position will be a hybrid role working 3 days of the week from our headquarters in Chatsworth and the remaining days from home.Regency Supply, part of the Regency Lighting family of companies, is an electrical distributor based in Chatsworth and expanding throughout California.
