Purchasing Clerk
Talent One Recruitment & Staffing is seeking an experienced Purchasing Clerk to work for a manufacturing facility.
Job Type: Full-time.
Pay: $21.00 - $23.00 per hour.
Expected hours: 40 per week.
Schedule: 8-hour shift Day shift Monday to Friday.
Requirements:
- Efficiency in procurement.
- Experience in sourcing, negotiating, and managing while adhering to quality, budget and compliance standards.
- Identify potential suppliers.
- Negotiate contracts to secure the best prices and terms.
- Maintaining strong relationships with suppliers.
- Resolve any issues related to quality, delivery, or pricing.
- Analyze costs, identify cost savings opportunities, and ensuring procurement stays within budget.
- Ensure goods and services meet quality standards and specifications.
- Tracking inventory levels, coordinating deliveries.
- Maintaining accurate records of purchase orders, invoices, and supplier agreement.
Skills and Qualifications:
- Ability to negotiate.
- Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize effectively, and meet deadlines.
- Proficiency software and systems, such as ERP systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Understanding of procurement processes, inventory management, and supply chain management.
