A Day in the Life of a Pharmacy Technician – Crosby Clinic Pharmacy Technicians in this retail setting are fundamental in managing the intricate details of prescription processing, ensuring both accuracy and compliance with healthcare regulations. The role involves significant interaction with customers, providing service that is both informative and empathetic, addressing questions and directing queries to pharmacists when necessary. Daily responsibilities also include managing patient medication synchronization, bubble packing, over‑the‑counter medication and front‑end management. Ideal Candidate Strong attention to detail Effective communication skills Resilient Self‑directed and organized Good customer service skills Knowledge of pharmaceutical products Qualifications Education and Experience Required Current MN driver’s license Successfully complete the certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) course or possess certification within two years of hire Successful completion of the data entry and pharmacy nomenclature standards as administered by Cuyuna Regional Medical Center Human Resources staff High School Diploma Registration as a Pharmacy Technician with the State Board of Pharmacy (must show in good standing prior to first day) Preferred Completion of a Certified Pharmacy Technician course Compensation and Benefits The pay range is listed above.
