Inventory Control Clerk

This onsite role is located in our Irving, TX facility and follows a schedule of Monday through Thursday, 5:00 PM to 4:30 AM. Responsibilities Assist Supervisors in training and developing the team Monitor production performance and ensure quality controls are met while adhering to work instructions Participate in daily stand‑up meetings with the Supervisor Attend internal and external customer or vendor meetings as required Work with the Supervisor to reallocate resources (people, supplies, products, etc.) to meet customer goals Serve as the point of contact for employees handling escalation issues Collaborate with Engineering to identify and resolve process issues Coordinate with other departments to ensure proper workflow is achieved Track and maintain a daily attendance roster for Emergency Evacuation purposes Participate with the 6S Audit team on monthly 6S audits Implement changes or adjustments on the production floor resulting from audit findings Perform on‑the‑job refresher training and workstation assessments Monitor inventory levels (WIP aging) for the area of responsibility Track KPI and SLA performance levels and raise concerns to the Supervisor when necessary Communicate effectively with employees at all levels Compile and analyze production data Complete daily reports Train and coach associates as needed Perform forklift operations if certified and required for the area Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent Minimum of 2 years of light manufacturing experience or 1 year of inspector experience Proficiency in manual processing and receiving, consistently meeting unit per hour (UPH) expectations Strong team player who thrives in a fast‑paced environment Excellent time management and organizational skills Attention to detail Must be proficient and certified in the area of responsibility Preferred Skills / Experience Experience with database software and data entry in existing programs Basic Microsoft Excel skills for data entry and spreadsheet management Basic Microsoft Word skills for documents and reports Pay Range USD 17.34 – 27.75 per hour, with potential for salary growth based on experience and performance.
