Position Overview We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Accounts Consultant to manage day-to-day financial transactions and maintain accurate financial records for our accounting clients. This role is ideal for someone who is dependable, analytical, and eager to grow within a professional bookkeeping environment. You will play a key role in ensuring accurate, timely, and compliant financial operations for multiple clients. This is a remote position, with hours based on client needs. Key Responsibilities Record daily financial transactions and maintain accurate general ledgers. Reconcile bank accounts, credit cards, and other financial accounts. Manage accounts payable (AP) and accounts receivable (AR), including invoicing and payment tracking. Prepare and maintain monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports. Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and expense tracking. Categorize payroll transactions and ensure compliance with applicable regulations. Requirements Education: Associate’s or bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field preferred (or equivalent experience). Experience: 1–2 years of bookkeeping or accounting experience. Technical Skills: Proficiency in QuickBooks Online and Microsoft Office (especially Excel). Knowledge: Strong understanding of GAAP and basic accounting principles. Communication: Strong verbal and written English communication skills. Attention to Detail: High level of accuracy in data entry and recordkeeping. Organization: Ability to prioritize tasks, meet deadlines, and manage multiple clients.
