Position description The Department of Neurology at the University of California, Davis is recruiting a Sleep Medicine Neurologist for a full‑time faculty position. The appointment may be at the Assistant/Associate/Full rank in the Health Sciences Clinical Professor (HSCP) or Clinical Neurology series, with academic rank commensurate with experience and qualifications. Faculty members provide outpatient clinical care, teach medical students, residents, and fellows, and contribute to university and public service. The outpatient clinic includes a mix of new and follow‑up patients with dedicated days for polysomnography and home sleep testing. The sleep program at UCDH includes an AASM‑accredited sleep lab and an ACGME sleep fellowship program, offering patient care for all types of sleep disorders in a multi‑disciplinary setting. For HSCP series candidates, emphasis is on clinical service and teaching. For Clinical Neurology series candidates, the position also requires participation in clinical trials, translational and collaborative research. Opportunities for teaching include supervision of sleep fellows and neurology residents.
