Traveling Field Service Engineer - Eastern St. Louis Region

Becton Dickinson seeks a Field Service Engineer to provide technical support and maintenance for automated pharmacy dispensing systems across the Eastern St. Louis region. The role involves on-site and remote troubleshooting, preventive maintenance, and customer relationship management, with extensive travel required.

Responsibilities

Provide remote and on-site technical support for automated dispensing systems
Respond to and resolve work orders within service-level expectations
Execute preventive maintenance programs and perform installations and repairs
Build customer relationships and document service activities accurately
Follow compliance procedures including Medical Device Reporting and safety standards

Requirements

1–3 years combined hardware, software, and IT support experience
Ability to meet Federal Government facility access eligibility requirements
Medical or electromechanical device repair experience
Strong troubleshooting, diagnostic, and problem-solving skills
Associate degree in related field or 3+ years field service experience
Valid driver's license and ability to meet company driving requirements
Mechanical aptitude and ability to lift up to 115 lbs occasionally
