Together, we are EXP.Are you ready to design your future?Be our next Project Manager / Senior Electrical Engineer (Mining)!In this role, you will be a part of the Mining Team, based out of any of our US offices! What a day at EXP has in store for you:Preparing proposals for projects for geotechnical services for engineering projects that include cost estimates and timelines;PLC, Power, Automation and instrumentation mining experience required.Responsible for meeting firm's engineering quality levels of discipline on assigned projects.Oversees development of design concepts by Designers, and ensure proper application and execution.Verifies Designer's work quality regarding specifications, reports, code application, submittal review, equipment selection, deliverables, and drawings.Responsible for applying the EXP's risk management practices of electrical engineering.Have a solid understanding of engineering fundamentals and advanced concepts to execute all required aspects of discipline engineering.Encourages collaboration to seek the best solutions.Manages work plans and deliverables on multiple projects within budgeted hours.Executes complex electrical designs with conflicting design requirements or difficult coordination.Perform front-end loading of Electrical systems for projects.Contributes to revisions of EXP's design standards and master specifications.Evaluates Value Engineering (cost cutting) items with respect to our level of risk.Edits and develops the basis of design narratives documenting the project scope.Develops electrical one-lines, load lists, area classifications, etc.Participates in HAZOP, PHA, safety reviews.What your experience looks like:Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering from an Accredited University.Registered PE Required10 plus years of experience in the mining or industrial industry.Business development experienced requiredThe salary range for this role is $110,000 to $150,000. Actual compensation will be determined based on a variety of factors, including but not limited to the candidate's skill set, experience, certifications, and geographic location.
