You will be part of a close-knit team of mental health professionals dedicated to providing continuous support and supervision, ensuring a cohesive approach to patient care. Key Responsibilities Conduct comprehensive initial assessments via secure video conferencing, utilizing specialized teletherapy software to gather client histories and evaluate their mental health needs. Facilitate one-on-one therapy sessions through webcam, employing evidence-based therapeutic techniques adapted for digital interaction to ensure effective communication and engagement. Document client progress meticulously using electronic health record systems, ensuring compliance with all regulatory standards for telemedicine practices. Participate actively in regular team meetings through conference calls or virtual platforms to review client cases and strategize on treatment plans with fellow practitioners. Engage in ongoing education and training sessions focused on the latest best practices and technological advancements in digital counseling. Patient Population / Client Focus In this role, you will work with a diverse clientele, including individuals experiencing anxiety, depression, trauma, and other emotional challenges. Your compassionate approach will help clients establish meaningful connections as they navigate their mental health journeys. The teletherapy model allows you to connect with clients who may otherwise have limited access to mental health resources, thereby expanding your impact as a healthcare provider. Qualifications A Master’s degree in Psychology, Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or a related field from an accredited institution. An active California state license/certification for providing psychotherapy, such as LPCC, LCSW, or LMFT. A minimum of two years of experience in direct client work, addressing various emotional and psychological challenges. Exceptional interpersonal communication skills, particularly in engaging with clients through virtual platforms like Zoom or Skype. Preferred Experience While a minimum of two years of experience is required, candidates with additional experience in teletherapy or working with underserved populations will be highly regarded. Familiarity with digital tools and platforms that facilitate remote counseling will also be advantageous. Compensation and Benefits We offer a competitive salary ranging from $115,000 to $130,000 annually, commensurate with your experience and expertise, along with opportunities for performance-based incentives.
