Schedule: Day coverage as scheduled by site; site notes may include call coverage one to two times per week with occasional 24 hour weekend call; call response time 30 minutes
Setting: Hospital based and ambulatory surgery center coverage; may float between sites during the week
Travel and Lodging: Travel and lodging support may be available
EMR: Epic
Position Overview

Provide anesthesiology coverage as assigned

Case mix and supervision model are site dependent

Spinals, blocks, and epidurals proficiency required

Case logs required
Clinical Scope

General, vascular, neuro, OB and GYN, and urology (site dependent)

Endoscopy, ENT, cataracts, orthopedics, and pediatric cases as assigned (site dependent)
Required Qualifications

MD or DO

Board certified or board eligible in Anesthesiology as required by the site

Active North Carolina medical license

North Carolina controlled substance registration and DEA

ACLS and BLS through AHA; PALS as required by the site

Candidates must have at least two years of clinical experience within the past five years to qualify.
